God created the world and ordered its operations and experiences with times and seasons. In other words, there is a time and a season for everything. A lot of people are praying for a harvest when they’ve not planted anything or labored for it. In the stage of development, there’s always a time for growth, and after growth comes elevation.
Eccl 3:11 KJV. He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
Gen. 8:22 KJV. While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
There is a time for
- Giving without receiving. This is a time of hard work, a time to crucify yourself, a time of giving without receiving, and a time to diligently serve. To some, this is the wilderness experience. It is also a time of working in the secret.
- Season of harvest. This is a time of manifestation, breakthrough, and projection. Even when you don’t want to show off, your works will project you.
Benefits of Understanding Times and Seasons
- When you understand the times and seasons, it will make you checkmate the errors of your life. A single mistake can take you many years and even a lifetime to correct.
Eccl. 10:5 KJV. There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler: - It will prepare you for the challenges that will come your way. Nothing will take you unawares if you understand the times and seasons. You will be in a position to command others.
1 Chron 12:32 KJV. And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.
