Bible Verse: 1 Cor 1:9 (KJV)
God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
What is faithfulness? Faithfulness is an act of remaining loyal to someone or something and placing that loyalty into consistent practice despite other external attractions. God is faithful, and through him (his faithfulness), we are called to fellowship with him through his faithfulness. And as a Christian, God wants you to be faithful.
Areas on how to be faithful
- In holiness.
1 Peter 1:16 (KJV). Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Psalm 24:3-6 KJV. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Deut 10:12 KJV. And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
