The Ministry of The People

There are a few things you should know about the ministry of the people; it’s not a perfect one. The perfect ministry one should have is the ministry of the Holy Ghost. The ministry of the people refers to the dangers and experiences associated with being under the control of the people.

Darkness is associated with the people

You are not meant to be under the influence of the people because the darkness is with the people. When you follow the people, you’ll end in darkness. And when you end in darkness, you’ll have no choice than to do evil. Any man that walks in darkness is exposed to danger. If you must follow the people, get ready for troubles.
Isa 60:1-2 (KJV) – Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. ² For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
Jn 3:19 (KJV) – And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Ps. 10:8 (KJV) – He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.

Disobedience

Stop dancing to the tune of the people. That everybody does something doesn’t make it right. You’re not everyone, you’re not the people. That everyone has a girlfriend/boyfriend, belongs to a cult, etc. doesn’t mean you should do it. Disobedience comes when you become entangled with the people. Don’t follow the people: you’re a special person.

1 Sam 13:8 (KJV) – And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.
1 Sam 15:19-20 (KJV) – Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the Lord, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the Lord? ²⁰ And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the Lord, and have gone the way which the Lord sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. ²¹ But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the Lord thy God in Gilgal.

The People Murmur/grumble a Lot

Exo 15:24 (KJV) – And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
Num 14:29 (KJV) – Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me.

The People Sin A Lot

If you don’t womanize, drink, smoke, etc. but all your friend’s do it, it’s only a matter of time before you become like them. When you stand with the people, you sin like the people.
Exo 32:20 (KJV) – And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
Exo 32:6 (KJV) – And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
1 Cor 10:7 (KJV) – Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
Ezek. 18:4 (KJV) – Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
