Thanksgiving is important and one of the many things we learned from Jesus is to give thanks. There are several reasons why we should give thanks to God.
6 Reasons Why We Give Thanks To God
- To enable us to present our requests to God. Through thanksgiving, we have the priviledge of presemting our requests to God. Thanksgiving and victory go together.
Phil 4:6 KJV. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Ps. 50:14-15 KJV. Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: 15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. - Thanksgiving is a command.
Ps 150:6 KJV. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
Ps 100:4 KJV. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. - By thanksgiving, your miracles can become permanent. Thanksgiving is a demonstration of faith and appreciation for what has been done for you. There are many ungrateful people in the world today. Don’t be ungrateful.
- It’s the way of life of our master Jesus Christ.
Luke 22:14 KJV. And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
Matt. 15:36 KJV. And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. - Thanksgiving is an exchange.
