Every product in the market has the trademark of the manufacturers and the country of origin. Every office and profession has what it’s known for; you can easily know a doctor, lawyer, or policeman based on their appearance, operation, and system.
In the same way, an unbeliever is known from a believer from above. God knows who is his and who is not.
Here are some of the marks of a true believer
1. In Appearance – Modesty.
1 Tim 2:9-10 KJV. 9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
1 Cor 14:40 KJV. Let all things be done decently and in order.
1 Thess 5:22 KJV. Abstain from all appearance of evil.
2. In Operation – Do not make haste.
Isa. 28:16 KJV. Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
Rom 4:20 KJV. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Heb. 11:17-19 KJV. By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: 19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
Mark 9:23 KJV. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
3. In Interest – Seek The Kingdom of God first.
Matt. 6:33 KJV. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mark 10:29-31 KJV. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. 31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.
4. In Manifestation – God has given us power not fear.
2 Tim. 1:7 KJV. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Jn 1:12 KJV. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Mark 16:20 KJV. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
