The Clouding of Darkness

The Clouding of Darkness

All the plans of the enemy are to make you go from the light into darkness. They simply want to turn off your light and you should know that anyone that walks in darkness will encounter many dangers because they can’t see anything.

Darkness isn’t a lover, it’s a destroyer and the moment you start to romance with darkness, you begin to destroy your life.

Ways Satan Uses to Take Us Into Darkness

  1. Through Sin. Sin is the first approach through which satan can take someone in the light into darkness. Sin begins as a desire/lust which when not removed leads to death. Anyone that lives in sin has signed a contract of death with the devil.
Prov. 14:34 KJV. Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
Isa 60:2 KJV. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
  2. By association. Association is powerful as it influences your thoughts, operatoon, your actions, and consequences.
Prov. 13:20 KJV. He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
Amos 3:3 KJV. Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Lev. 19:34 KJV. But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
  3. It comes as an attack/enemy.
Matt. 13:25 KJV. But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
Psalm 10:8 KJV. He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.

What should you do to deal with darkness?

  1. Don’t give them a chance.
Eccl. 11:3 KJV. If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.
  2. Act fast. Christianity isn’t complete until warfare is involved.
    Jer. 51:20 KJV. Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;
Exo 15:3 KJV. The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.
  3. Embrace the word of God which is light.
Job. 22:28 KJV. Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
Ps. 107:20 KJV. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Ps. 119:105 KJV. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
