How do you take care of your spirit man?
- Mind Your Association. See (2 Cor. 6:14, Psalm 1:1, Prov. 13:20). Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
- Your Character. See (Matt. 9:17). Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. A bad character is like a flat tire; it won’t take you anywhere.
- Your Health. See (1 Tim 4:8). For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. Eat well, get enough rest, and get back to work.
- Your Faith. See (Romans 10:17, 2 Tim. 2:22). So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
- Your Service to God. See (1 Sam 2:30, Mal. 3:17-18). Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
