After Jesus resurrected, there were certain things that marked his resurrection. Below, we’ve outlined some of the happenings that took place after his resurrection.
- He sits in great power.
- He now has a name.
Phil 2:8-9 KJV. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: - He collected all the keys of life and death.
Matt 28:18 KJV. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
1 Cor 15:27 KJV. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. - He raised us to live a new life.
Col 1:13 KJV. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Rom 6:4 KJV. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Heb 2:14-15 KJV. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
