Alone With God

Alone With God

God sees us first as individuals and then collectively as a group. In making a choice, God doesn’t choose us as a group, he makes a choice of one person and then equips the person to lead the group. You must make up your mind to create a strong personal relationship with God as the heavenly race is an individual race and not a group race.

It’s not surprising to know that many people preach about Jesus without knowing him personally. How can you do the work of the Lord without knowing the Lord of the Work? Until you’re separated from the people, you’re not worthy of being used by God. See Acts 13:2
Acts 13:2 KJV. they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

Approaches To Being Alone With God

  1. You cannot do the work of the Lord without knowing the Lord of the work. Learn to be alone with God, because you’ll be empowered to hear God clearly. Run from noise if you want to hear God clearly; noise is always present when you’re not alone.
Matt 14:23 KJV. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
  2. God cannot use you unless you’re separated.
Luke 22:41 KJV. And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
  3. If you are battling with a situation, learn to be alone with God. By doing so, you’ll learn how to tackle your situations.
Gen 32:27 KJV. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
1 Sam 30:7 KJV. And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.
  4. Consider that on the last day, you’ll be alone with God to give an account of your life.
Rev. 22:12 KJV. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
