What God says about coming together for fellowship?
- It’s good and pleasant. Read Psalm 133:1
- If we walk in the light, we fellowship with others, and the blood. The first sign that you have the love of God in you is that you’ll love fellowship. Read 1 Jn 1:7
- Fellowship should be done steadfastly with breaking of bread in prayers. Fear comes upon the enemies and signs and wonders will be done. Read Acts 2:42-43
- Early christians came together to break bread and jear preaching. Read Acts 20:7
Dangers of avoiding fellowship with the brethren
- You’ll be tempted. Read Gal 6:1.
- God turns away his punishment. Read Prov 24:17-18.
- Vainglory and selfishness step in. Read Phil 2:3.
