Forgiving Others

Forgiveness is a command. It isn’t willful and it’s not optional.

Col. 3:13 KJV. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
Eph 4:26 KJV. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Mark 11:25 KJV. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Few Things You Should Know About Forgiveness

  1. Forgiveness is God’s property. It’s with God, and it’s the character of God.
    Psalm 130:4 KJV. But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
  2. Forgiveness ministers to you before ministering to others.
    Matt 6.14 KJV. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
  3. It is a prayer point on it’s own.
    Matt 6:9 KJV. After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
  4. It’s a personal decision if you want to upgrade in life.

Dangers of Unforgiveness

  1. It is medically dangerous. It causes sleepless nights. It can cause high blood pressure.
  2. You’ll not be forgiven if you don’t forgive others.
    Matt. 6:14 KJV. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
  3. Unforgiveness gives you a big load to carry.
  4. It brings up the fear of the unknown.
  5. Unforgiveness cages your spirit and it puts you in a prison.
  6. It leads to isolation and torment.If you must make heaven, you must learn to forgive.
    Matt. 5:8 KJV. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
